Perelandra

Perelandra is a lengthy composition I have recently completed scoring for piano. The arrangement is intended for orchestra and the work on that continues using an orchestral template built in GigaStudio. This piece is inspired by the second book of C.S.Lewis's remarkable "Space Trilogy" written in 1943. If you haven't read these books, you are missing out on some great science fiction.

There are four movements in the Symphonic Poem

I. Andante (To Venus)

II. Allegretto con moto (The Green Lady)

III. Allegro (The Golden Feast)

IV. Presto (Blessed be He)

The Oblivion Sun band has recorded an arrangement of "The Golden Feast" which is included on the self titled debut cd.
